A traditional cheese originating from the alpine pastures of the Maritime Alps from which it takes its name, with the typical square shape a rmed over the years due to the convenience of transporting the forms on the back of a mule. Today, production is spread throughout the Cuneo province. However, our Raschera DOP Montegrana is produced with raw mountain milk and contains unmistakable organoleptic qualities. The paste is tender and elastic, the wonderful sweetness accompanied by notes of cooked milk, butter and hay.
Ingredients: raw milk, salt, rennet.
MATURATION: At least 30 days
Always serve at room temperature. It is also great for use in cooking, for the preparation of fondues and traditional dishes.
Store in a cool location. Once cut, it is important that the centre does not dry out.
